Meet the Artist

Hiii — I’m Alana, the artist and heart behind Motlee Illustrations. Originally from Madison, Georgia, I’ve since taken my art (and a 4runner load of all of my arts & crafts) on the road, sharing my work and story wherever I go. Creating art that connects people to what they love most fills my heart, and I hope my journey inspires you to chase your own passions too.

My colorful, expressive style was born during my college years at the University of North Georgia, where I studied graphic design, illustration, and printmaking. I fell in love with combining digital tools and traditional techniques — using every hand-drawn hatch and cross-hatch to build something unique. The ability to blend modern precision with the raw energy of printmaking (and yes, the magic of CMD+Z!) helped me find my rhythm as an artist.

Each portrait I create celebrates the joy, personality, and soul of our sweet companions. I can’t wait to create something that reminds you daily of the animals who makes life so much brighter.
